It is essential when you go abroad to choose the right homestay that meets your needs. I offer a welcome friendly home and am happy to assist you in feeling comfortable and adjusting to your new home and life in America. As a former student and homestay guest my self I know there are many things to think about when going aboard. I wrote this page to help all people looking for the right homestay with the right host family in the right place.

I am now an American citizen and currently live in California. I provide homestay and I am a homestay host for guests and students from all over the world.

With all the homestay websites, out there how do you know which one to choose? First, you should look at the content of the website. Ask these questions. # 1 is there photos of guests with hosts and the home. The people you will be staying with and the home you will be staying in is important. # 2 is the area where the home is going to be close to the school you are attending. # 3 what are the transportation choices on how to get to and from your school or other places, you want to go.

Homestay and what to know before you go.

Homestay is useful for students and or guests that are going to study abroad for the first time. Before going to a homestay, I suggest that you should take the time to know your host family. You should find a host that is a family and not a single individual. You should ask about house rules if you have the option to. You should let your host family or agent know what your needs are before you go and not when you arrive. If you follow these simple steps, you are sure to have a good experience.

What are the best points of a good experience abroad?

Students and individuals can learn about life values and interact with people of different countries to share their own culture and interests with. I think it is so nice to have a cultural exchange of values. Given the right homestay in the right place this can be golden.
